Privacy
sniv reads public data. It never asks for your social media passwords. This page says what we read, what we keep and for how long.
What sniv reads
- Public profiles and public posts on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Threads, LinkedIn and YouTube.
- Only what a stranger can see. We do not read private accounts, and we do not try.
- We never ask for a social media password. We never connect to your accounts.
What we keep
- Your account: your email address and the name from your sign-in.
- Your reads and reports, and your credits and orders. We do not keep card numbers. The checkout provider handles them.
- A scrambled form of your IP address. We use it only to stop abuse.
- One session cookie while you are signed in. We use no advertising trackers.
How long we keep it
- Raw public data that we read: 30 days at most.
- Your report: until you delete your account, or until the owner of the account opts out.
- Orders and credit history: as long as the law says we must keep them.
People who comment
We do not store the identity of people who comment on a post. We use comments only to count and to find patterns, such as questions that nobody answered.
Who can see a report
You can see your own reports. A share link shows one report to anyone who has the link. Sections that you did not unlock never leave sniv.
Who helps us run sniv
We use providers for hosting, email, public data and checkout. They process data only to run sniv. We do not sell your data.
Opt out
If you own a public account and you do not want sniv to read it, use the opt-out page. After we check your code, sniv stops reading that account.
Your choices
To see, correct or delete your data, write to read@sniv.social. We answer within 7 days.
Changes
When this page changes, we change the date at the top.
